Description
This is the DonkeyCar RC hat, which fits on top of your RaspberryPi and allows you to use the same RC transmitter and receiver that came with your car (assuming you’re using a ready-to-run RC car) or any other regular RC gear. This greatly simplifies your setup, allowing you to avoid having to use a I2C servo driver board and a wireless game controller, while giving far more range than the game controller.

Hi All,
I helped the developer of the RC HAT bring this product to market by testing the various designs and upgrades so this RC HAT is a bullet proof design and will work well for those who want to control their Donkey Car with RC, but don’t have the funds for a Robo HAT MM1.
I have both the RC HAT and a Robo HAT MM1 and the RC HAT performs equal to or better than the Robo HAT MM1 for 1/6 the cost.
